Good evening,
Maybe someone can help me ...
I'm looking for the name of the connector series as they are used for the throttle potentiometer three-pole and quadrupole for the idler or MAP sensor (MPI).
I would need matching counterparts to the engine wiring harness.
The goal is a plug & play harness for my auxiliary control unit. Since it is an everyday car, I would like to take out the additional control unit in case of failure simply by re-plugging and continue with original sensor values ...
Fortunately, the OT transmitter is a common plug ... Wendy |

Hello,
As far as i know there are no matching male plugs (intended to crimp on wires) to those female plugs on the original wiring harness. I spend hours on the internet searching for it and only found the female version...
But you can sacrifice an old TPS and idle stepper, cut out the connector, solder on some wires and apply epoxy resin for mechanical strength and sealing. Did this successfully with both the 3 pin TPS connector and the 4 pin idle stepper connector. |

Are you sure?
As far as i know those are AMP superseal plugs and there are Male/Female connector kits readily available?
Something like this?

No, these are not the AMP SuperSeal connector, the AMP connectors are bigger.
It is a different form.
I searched these connectors, but i dont found them.

Hi Freddy
For the MAP sensor there is no problem to get the correct male/female plugs to produce a breakout harness.
For the TP you can get this in the united states. Several Moto Guzzi and Harley Motorcycles use the Marelli PF3 TP which has the same connectors. Carry out a search on the forums for these bikes and you will be finding.... |

Hi, wir können auch auf Deutsch schreiben, ich hatte nur wegen dem Ersteller in englisch geantwortet.
Ich habe es tatsächlich wie oben beschrieben von Dr. Oerker gelöst und einen alten Leerlaufregler dazu zerstört und damit eine Kupplung gebaut. Aber ja, ein Stecker und Buchse wären mir lieber.
